It is used to determine the resistance of aggregates to abrasion. It consists of a heavy steel cylinder 711 mm inside diameter x 508 mm inside length, mounted on a base frame. The cylinder rotates at a speed of between 31 and 33 rpm.
The machine is equipped with an automatic digital counter that can be preset to the required number of turns of drum revolutions.
The cylinder is counterbalanced so that the filling opening remains in position without tilting; A push button allows this opening to be positioned for loading/unloading operations.
It is supplied without abrasive fillers to be ordered separately according to the requested Standards. Cannot be sold in CE markets without protection (see accessories).
