GEOGAUGE, non-nuclear meter for soil compaction, stiffness and anvil modulus monitoring

The GeoGauge is the only portable gauge available that provides the simplicity, speed and accuracy needed to directly measure and monitor engineered properties on site and to do so at construction speed.

This device applies a constant load vibrating force to the ground surface and measures the resulting displacement. This dynamic technology simulates actual conditions of use. A tool for linking design specifications with compaction in 75 seconds to improve quality control.

Applications include subgrade, subbase and base, monitoring strength gain of lime, cement, fly ash and polymer-stabilized materials, monitoring asphalt recompaction and in-situ cold recycling to achieve maximum properties to avoid wasted effort and damaging over-compaction.

The GeoGauge complements and provides an alternative to the resilient modulus, weight drop deflectometer, California field bearing index, plate load test, dynamic cone penetrometer and other strength, stiffness, modulus and deflection measurements.
