PROCTOR / CBR programmable automatic compactor with microprocessor, “high technology”.
Designed to compact Proctor and CBR samples, it guarantees an extremely uniform degree of compaction, providing reliable and repeatable probability results.
The microprocessor software allows to select and perform different compaction cycles in a fully automatic system, in strict compliance with International Standards. The strokes are distributed automatically per second or according to the selected Standard, with rotation of the rotary table and displacement of the piston by means of photoelectric cell sensors and microprocessor.
The digital control panel is separate from the machine and can be fixed to the wall or mounted on a bench. The high-resolution graphic display (blue negative) 320×240 pixels shows o Selected standard, o Total number of strokes, performed and remaining to finish test and run of each layer.
The user can select and memorize up to 10 customized test cycles, which can later be modified or replaced by others. This is a very important function, as it allows the Compactor to be upgraded to new Standards, or any Standard not included in the microprocessor and for research purposes.
The original rammer lift system can be selected in 12″ or 18″, or in 300 or 450 mm, guaranteeing a correct and constant drop height.
Rammer drop speed: 1 stroke every 2 seconds. The compactor accepts diameter molds. 4″ and 6″, 100 and 150 mm, from any manufacturer thanks to its universal mold fixing system.
The machine is supplied with a tamper which is ordered separately and selected according to the desired standard (the tampons are interchangeable).
